Yes, you can use an existing WhatsApp number. However, before onboarding, you must first delete the WhatsApp account linked to that number. If you wish to back up your WhatsApp text messages so that you can restore to Wati, you can use our Chat backup plugin
Is there a setup fee for using the WhatsApp API?
There is no setup fee associated with using the WhatsApp API. You can do it yourslf or watch our tutorial video on youtube to DIY.
What does WhatsApp conversational-based pricing mean if WhatsApp is free?
While regular WhatsApp usage is free, businesses using WhatsApp Business API to grow their business will incur charges for sending customer messages. WhatsApp conversation pricing depends on your customer's country code and your message template. Please check our article on conversational-based pricing for more details.

How contacts per month works for different pricing plans?
Contacts are your customer counts. For example, if 20000 contacts you get in Startup plan, it is collective of all contacts that you manage in WhatsApp, instagram, fb messenger and telegram. You don't get this 20K contacts individually for each platform.
What does msgs/month [Non AI] means?
Non AI messages per month means the messaging limit that you get every month that are normal conversation between you and your customer in the Live chat inbox of your respective social media channel and no response has been handled by AI.
My site is not built on Woocommerce or Shopify, can we stil integrate our ecommerce to the social media channels via SendWo?
Yes, SendWo gives you access to Developer API of SendWo for any 3rd party integration. So you can still connnect any custom ecommerce soluiton to SendWo and sync your SKU's
